Descripción
Location: The hotel is located adjacent to the Miðfjarðará river in Miðfjörður, midway between Reykjavík and Akureyri. Miðfjarðará is one of Iceland's best salmon rivers. Laugarbakki is a village with a population of about 80. The hotel site was formerly known as Langafit; according to the Saga of Grettir, horsefights took place here in olden times.
